Hi, I'm Ann.

Travel Advisor with Best Day Ever Vacations · Adventures by Ann

If you've found your way here, you probably know that I love to talk about travel. Disney is a big part of that, but I also love Universal and cruising. There is just something about having a trip to look forward to and making those memories with the people you love.

But my love of travel is also very personal.

I'm a wife and a mom of two young adults, and our family has spent many years traveling together. My son is autistic and non-verbal, and traveling with him has changed the way I look at vacations.

It has also changed the way I plan them.

When you're traveling with a child who has different needs, you learn pretty quickly that you can't always plan a vacation the same way another family might. You have to think about what your child enjoys, what might be overwhelming, when they may need a break, and what you can do when the day doesn't go exactly as planned.

And honestly, I've learned that that's okay.

A vacation doesn't have to be perfect to be a great vacation.

Sometimes you have to change your plans. Sometimes you don't get to do everything you wanted to do. And sometimes the best memories come from the moments you never planned at all.

Those experiences have stayed with me.

They are also a big part of why I love helping families plan their vacations today.

When I work with a family, I don't just want to know where you want to go. I want to know about your family.

  • What does your child love?
  • What are you worried about?
  • What might make the trip easier?
  • What are the things you don't want to have to worry about once you arrive?

Because I've been that mom.

I've had those questions. I've worried about whether a trip would work. And I've learned that having someone who listens and helps you think through those things can make a big difference.

That's really what I want this space to be about.

I'll share travel tips, Disney and Universal information, cruise ideas, packing help, and things I've learned from my own experiences. But I'll also share the real side of travel, the parts that don't always make it into the perfect vacation photo.

Because travel is about more than checking things off a list.

It's about the people you're making the memories with.

And I truly believe your vacation doesn't have to look like everyone else's.

It just needs to work for your family.

I'm glad you're here.

All the Best, Ann
